April 3, 2023 - As founding partner of Austin FC, Netspend is teaming up with the club to celebrate its new Coach of the Year Award. The award gives Central Texans the chance to nominate Central Texas public middle or high school coaches from participating schools within a 75-mile radius of Austin, Texas. The Netspend Coach of the Year Grand Prize winner will receive $5,000 and will be honored at Austin FC’s match at Q2 Stadium on May 13.
Nominations are now open through the final week of April and can be submitted for coaches who work at participating public middle or high schools within 75 miles of Austin, Texas. Nominees should embody the characteristics that define a coach who makes a positive impact, as well as:
Coaches must have proven experience in positively impacting young lives, inside and outside of coaching as detailed by the nominating participant.
Coaches must be full-time employees of a participating middle or high school, with at least three years of experience as a coach (“Coach”).
Coaches will be subject to a background check.
