What is a virtual account and how can I create one?
Virtual accounts/cards allow you to make purchases or pay bills online with the funds in your account without sharing your physical card number.
- Each virtual account consists of a 16-digit account number, a 3-digit security code, and an expiration date.
- Virtual accounts have a 1-year expiration date.
- You can create up to 6 (or six) virtual accounts at a time and close them at any time.
- Other fees, limits, and terms and conditions apply as they do for your Account
After your identity has been verified and you have activated your personalized card, creating a virtual account is simple. Click “Card Settings” (you will need to login to your Account) and “Add a Virtual account” and follow the instructions.
