Visit a retail location. Load cash or checks at one of our 100,000+ partner locations, including participating MoneyGram or Western Union stores. For locations, visit www.loadnetspend.com.
Transfer money online. We offer instant and free options to transfer money from existing bank accounts or PayPal® accounts.
Use your NetSpend Card anywhere Visa debit cards are accepted, including online, over the phone, and at more than one million ATMs worldwide. Use your card for hotel reservations, car rentals, and pay at the pump gas.
Restrictions apply to some purchases. When renting a car, an additional 15% does get added with your rental security deposit, so you must have 15% above the authorized security deposit to rent a car. To pay at the pump for gasoline, you must have a minimum available balance of $55 to $100. If you purchase gas at the pump and the merchant obtains an authorization for $55, NetSpend will hold this amount for the merchant. If the total purchase comes to $30, the merchant will complete the transaction by collecting on the $30. The remaining $25 will be released back into your NetSpend Card account.
